To be a Sportsman

If I were a Professional Footballer when going about my daily life and I came across somebody wearing my team shirt I would give that person £10. This would reinforce the support the fan has of the club, encourage more people to wear the team colours once word got around thus promoting the club even more. Considering the wages of some of the top class sportsmen this wouldn't dent their pockets to much, maybe run into 100 shirt wearers a week costing £1000 yet the impact for the club would be tremendous.

Coloured vs Black

Refering to a black person as coloured is deemed racist these days.

Personnally I cannot understand why. When i think of coloured I think of something vibrant and exotic whereas black is more dark and sinister.

When have you ever heard someone use coloured as a racial slur?

"You coloured bastard."

I've never heard it and bet you never have either so for those of the darker persuasion instead of reclaiming the 'nigga' word why dont you get the beautiful coloured adjective back.

In the words of Lou Reed, "And all the coloured girls say...Do Da Do Da Do Do Da Do Doooo"

Jimmy Saviles Friends

The first question I asked myself when I heard about Jimmy Savile sexually abusing those girls.

"How come it's only now that he's dead all this has come to light?"

At first I thought Jimmy Savile must be a very powerful figure to have kept this from emerging but Richard Nixon was President of the USA and couldn't hush his wrongdoings up so there must be more.

So the conclusion I finally came up with was that he must have been partying with those young girls with a lot of other influential people. With all the dirt he had on accomplices if Jimmy ever got caught a lot of others would probably also be implicated. But a dead man cant speak.

I can't be the only one thinking this so eventually things will come to light and if I'm right then I expect to hear about a bunch of high profile suicides.

If your husband worked for the BBC during the Jimmy Savile era I suggest you lock the medicine cabinet and hide all sharp objects because you just never know.
